Cannot write/draw on bottom screen

Hi, my young son has placed dents in the bottom screen and now you cannot write or draw and cannot play some games. Can you replace bottom screen - if so, where (I live in Newcastle, NSW), and how much? Would we be better off buying a brand new console if too much??

Re: Cannot write/draw on bottom screen

There is a touch screen which is on top of the LCD screen. You can indeed buy a replacement touch screen, quite cheaply too. Check eBay.

Want to play more mature games but parents don't like mature violent if you want to call it games?how and how it's possible?

Hi again Jack. I agree with your parents. Those games make angry young men and anaesthetize the young to the damage that those games causes, and that vio lence is the norm, because it is seen every day on the computer.

My son has created an online ea account to play football on his xbox 360. he can't play because it is telling him he is to young. can i create another account..

Yes, you should be able to create a new XBox Live account for your son.

When you create a new XBox Live account, make sure to edit the date of birth so it is at least 18 years old. This way any and all restrictions on his online gaming experience will be nullified.

Hope that helps!

Slight damage by impact

If you have a warranty send it to Nintendo to fix it.They'll might replace the screen. If there unable to fix it or don't have a warranty just buy a new one.(PS.The games he'd play on the old ds dosen't save the games on it.It saves on the DS game card.)Hope I could help.

Top Screen of DS has faded to white

if he dropped it then the bottom should not show up as well. the bottom screen you can play the older games plus get instructions for the new games. if they are both out then it is the motherboard. if it is top only, it is the lcd screen and you can get that replaced for about $45. find a place to fix it or send it to nintendo. thanks, connie
