Question about Lucent PARTNER18 Corded Phone
We have a partner 18 system- and somehow we have lost our greeting for the after hours phone answer- we now get the generic lucent greeting- which will forward you to the appropriate extension. The seperate extensions still have there custom greetings. When I tried to progeam the outgoing message I get the error message "no asa/dxd card"
Hi Smr. I ran into the same problem. I found out that ASA means auto answer. My phone guy said its rarely used anymore becuase autoattendant does so much more. you get the message when you enable (or in my case) access anything that needs the card. I did it by accident by hitting intercom 891.
I found a thread that suggested a system reset that worked ... and (I confirmed ion page 4-55 of my manual) it doesn't erase any settings ...but it does disconnect any calles in progress.
In case you don't have the manual here's the procedure (which I just did minutes ago)
hit "feature", "00" , then "#728"
Sit tight about 10 seconds and all should go back to normal.
