Steering wheel controls and on-star

I have a 2003 chevey avalanche, will the steering wheel controls still work on panosonic Strada unit, also will my on star still work.

How did your guy do it dose anyone know i have a 05 chrysler 300 and i want to use my factory stering wheel controlls but i dont know how to hook it up is there a adaptor part somone please help

I have a 03 Kia Sorento, and the guy who installed my unit was able to keep my steering wheel controls, but it wasn't cheap..about $150 bucks. I would call around and see if there is a shop that can do it for you...I have no idea about on star..you might have to call GM..

To use the OnStar you need the GM-01 converter that connects the factory wire harness to any type of head unit you wish to install.

The Strada does not have built in steering control capability. you need to purchase an adaptor harness.
