Convergence problem. Replace a fuse by flyback, (small brown/orange one) and resolder flyback.

hows the picture? is it 3d looking? do you have the convergence option in the setup menu

This tv doesn't have 3D capabilities - the image appears blurry because both images are displayed on the same screen at the same time. Just don't use the 3D option from the BluRay player, view the movie normally - 2D.

Most likely cause is FL231 and DL231 having failed. You can get the repair kit called ITC222 & ITC222A convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the components and also includes the CD with instructions.

sounds like the sensors are out of focus and your red sensor isnt turning on. look in the back of the tv for a master reset button or in your menu screen some sort of "Flash focus" or "convergence". They will realign the 3 sensors.

its in your LCD connector re-connect it properly.

The cost I don't know, but this can be fixed. I'd say shop around a bit. Make sure the repair person is certified for your TV's manufacturer. There are generally 3 lamps in projection T.V.'s, Red, Green, and Blue. They have to be aligned for the TV to project a clear picture. A credible TV repairman should be able to fix it. Depending on if it's new enough to be under warranty they may cover it as well. Really the only reason to get rid of it is if you want to get a new TV anyway. Depends on the cost of having the lamps aligned.
