The red light flashing on your handset could indicate that the phone is in an alert state, or that there is an incoming call or message. To turn off the red light flashing on the handset, you can try the following steps:
Check the display: Make sure that the phone is not in silent or vibrate mode, and that the ringer volume is turned up.
Check for missed calls or messages: See if you have any missed calls or messages that could be causing the red light to flash.
Check for other alerts: See if there are any other alerts, such as low battery or signal strength, that could be causing the red light to flash.
Check for software updates: Make sure that your phone is running the latest software update. Sometimes, software updates can fix bugs that cause issues like this.
Check the settings: Go to the settings of your phone and check the display settings, make sure the red light is turned off.
Check with the phone's manufacturer: If the problem persists, you may want to contact the phone's manufacturer for further assistance or check if the device is still under warranty.

Hello
If you only get a flashing green light on the center while you turn on the console. You should get a green light going in a circle around the center light, (the 4 other lights, that can turn red as well (famous Red Ring of death))
if you don't get any red or green lights around the flashing center ring, then the console is not able to turn on / boot up properly and is in need of repairs, check the powersupply led, what color is it? it should be green when you power on and orange when not in use.
With most flat panel TVs, the TV turn itself OFF when it has a fail electronic part and the red light starts flashing. They call this "Protection Mode". The flashing red light should be a error trouble code.
But, it's weird that everything is working and the red light is flashing. Since you just recently bought the TV, I would get it check out while it's still under warranty. Better safe, than sorry.
The red light is telling you that your phone is on. It will flash regaurdless if you have a text or not. When you charge it the light turns green.
Thats how they're made :)
I hope this will help. I had the same problem with the message alert light not turning off. I have phone service through the internet. I would clear messages from my base unit and alert would continue to flash. I went into my internet message center and found a few old messages there. Why they got there is beyond me, but after clearing them my alert light went out and stayed off. I disabled messages to internet inbox and now it flashes only when I get messages to my base unit until I listen or clear them. Easy fix to annoyance I've had for some time.
