Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
This laptop just suddenly stopped recognizing its wireless adapter. The wireless light is not illuminating however, when the switch is moved the screen does indicate that the wireless lan is enabled or disabled.
You may want to check the status of the device in the device manager found in your control panel -> system. Under network adapters check if there are error messages indicated. It would have errors indicated should there be problems. If there are you can update the driver (if it a new driver is available) or reinstall the driver (can be found in your manufacturer's website or disk provided). You may also want to check the under side since most of these laptops has access to your cards such as your RAM and your wireless card. You may want to check if it has come loose that is why your computer cannot detect the physical presence. Other than that it may be a faulty card or an LED.
