I believe like previous versions of Windows, 10 will allow you to run the program in compatible mode. Try right clicking and see if you can get it to open in compatible mode, for whatever you used to run it in.

I had The Print Shop Signature Greetings before but it won't install on Windows 10. My PC says this program would not install on your PC.

First, you may have to accept that the older program you have to install may never work with Windows 10. The newer security fixes and updated features of Windows 10 may mean that older programs literally cannot run on modern operating systems.
HOWEVER, you may be able to install and run your program if you experiment with the program compatibility settings in Windows 10.
With your install CD in the drive, open Windows Explorer so you can see the files on your hard drive. Now select the drive letter for your CD/DVD drive to view the files on that disc. You should see a file called 'setup' or 'install' which would be the program executed to install your software. Right click on that file, and your should see a "Troubleshoot compatibility" option. Select that and then try to set the program to use settings from a previous version of Windows, like Windows 7, or Windows Vista, or Windows XP. Once you've select the version you want to try, click OK, then double-click on the file you just configured to cause it to execute. Hopefully, you'll get it installed. Good luck!

Print shop 3.0 not working on windows 8

Try right clicking the program and running it with compatibility mode for a version of windows it ran in :) This should help, another option is "troubleshoot compatibility" when you right click it and it should take you through some steps.

I hope this helps! :) Feel free to reply and I'll try and help you even further.

I have windows 7 I uses creata cars gold in my old computer but now it won't run in windows what do I need to do

You can either upgrade to the latest Broderbund greeting card software. (See this site for a list of all the Broderbund Design and Print products: http://www.broderbund.com/c-6-design-print.aspx . You may not be able to import old projects into the new software.)

Creata Card Gold 8 was for Windows XP and older OS versions. I suspect the compatibility mode will not work but you can try it. Right click on the installer. Then choose Properties and then the Compatibility tab. Turn on Run program as Compatible with the appropriate OS. Then right click again on the installer and choose Run as Administrator. Then check if the program itself is running in the compatibility mode by right clicking again and choosing Properties. This is more likely to work if you have Windows 7 32-bit.

I do not know if this will work. A method that will work is to use a computer (virtual, dual-boot, or true second machine) with an older version of Windows installed. If you have Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can create a virtual XP computer for free. Download and install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft. Install them in order. Then install the XP software from your CD in the virtual computer and it will work. (Other virtual computer programs are Parallels and VMWare.) All of the other options will require a licensed version of the older Windows OS. Please note that the virtual computer can't share files directly with the main computer. You'll need to save files to external or removable media (optical media or flash drive, for example) to share them to print them. A printer can be installed to either the real or virtual machine at a given time. You will be asked to uninstall the printer if you try to install it in the virtual computer with it installed on the main computer.

I hope this helps.

I have American Greetings CreataCard Platinum 6. Windows 7 will not complete it. Sometimes I can skip quickly and get it to make a card but it is definitely not responding properly. What can i do? I...

You are may need to use compatibility mode for this program. It was originally intended for use on windows 98/Me/2000 and XP. To set compatibility mode to any of those operating systems, right click on the American Greeting shortcut (the icon you click to start the program) and select "properties". Now look for the "Compatibility" tab and click on the check box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and in the drop down box, select "Windows XP (Service pack 2)" Or, "windows XP (Service pack 3). If there is no service pack options for windows xp, that's fine. After you made your selection, press ok. If the program works, you're set. If not, go back and change the compatibility mode operating system to another choice such as "Windows 98" or "Windows 2000". Try each one and see what works for you.

I have amecan Greeting Card plus 3 and it will not work on my Vista 64 bit please help

This is an old piece of software. You can try right clicking the program icon, going to properties, going to compatibility and attempt to run it in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility modes. This may not work as the program is listed as incompatible with Windows Vista 64.
Please give me feedback for this answer, thanks.

Would the Broderbund American Greetings Spiritual Expressions 7 be compatible to Windows 7? And does this CD have the same spiritual pictures as the American Greetings Spiritual Exressions that I bought...

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(making a program work with windows 7)

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:)) julyallan01_52.jpg
