Hi, If you can stop the water from filling by shutting off the timer, you will need to look into the water level switch as the roblem. If the only way you can get the water to stop is to shut the supply valve off, you will need to change the inlet valve.
To check this water level switch, remove the 2 screws in the front or rear corners of the controlpanel and let it rest on the hinges. No locate the level switch. It has 3 wires and a 5/16" hose attached to it. Remove the hose and blow down through it. If it seems to let air through, replace the switch. If there seems to be some resistance in the hose, follow it down beside the tub and pull it off the cup fitting. Now use a thin wire (coat hanger might work) and see if there is something blocking the hole in the cup. Once it gets cleared out, hook the hose back up and try the wash cycle.
Please let me know if this has helped or if I can assist you further in tis matter.

Thanks
Vic

IT KEEPS FILLING UP WITH WATER AND OVERFLOWS

There is a tube next to the drum that senses the water level, take the screws out of the back of the machine near the top and then you can lift the top off over the drum, look for the tube and see if it is plugged with lint dirt or softener. Clean it out. If that is not the problem then check the sensor that it plugs into to be sure it is not bad

When water the water start filling the drum it don't stop, it overflows the drum. How can I fix the problem?

Hi Maria.
It sounds like you either have an inlet valve which won't shut off. or a water level sensor which is not telling the valve to shut off.
It would be best to get a LG serviceman.
This shouldn't be a big job
Good luck

In the begining of was the water won't stop filling, it overflows and it won't go to the wash cycle (adjetate) however I can turn it to the rinse cycle and it will drained and spins?

Possible that the water level sensor has failed.Shut down washer and trace the sensor which is a pressure activated switch from the drum overflow. the switch can be activated by blowing and checking continuity. if so replace the unit

Water overflows...does not shut off when full.

Empty tub of water unplug unit and pull it away from wall about three feet, tip unit back and on right side of drum you will find a hose connected to it remove this hose and inspect it for clog,if no clog is found nipple end on drum is probably clogged"can be cleared with small wire".If this is not cause then presure switch in upper control panel is bad,"note if hose is not connected to drum that is cause".The pressure switch is connected to the hose and the hose can even be damaged with hole in it if this happens hose needs replaced the length of the hose is important to operate properly and should not be altered in any way.

Water overflowing from Wasing Machine AAV7000AWW Admiral

this is 1 of 2 problems. either the pressure switch is no good or the pressure switch hose has a hole in it causing the air pressure from triggering the switch. locate the pressure switch and pull the hose off the end. start the washer and try to blow into the end where the hose was connected. if the water stops then you will need to replace the pressure switch hose. if the water doesn't stop coming in then you will need to replace the pressure switch

Ge wbsr washer overflows...

Could it be ...this happens only when it is overloaded or the load is out of balance. Please clarify.

If this is not the case .. the water level hose running from the outside tank to the water level switch is likely not making a good seal (otherwise the water level switch itself is bad). Sometimes with age the hose forms a crack in it near or at the end where it connects. This could happen at either end of the hose. Also if you have removed the control panel recently (for any reason) you may have (not knowingly) pulled the water level hose loose from the water level switch. Just slide the hose back onto the tube of the switch before putting the control panel back in place and all will be fine after the first filling of the tub (it may take one filling cycle to build the needed vacuum back up in the hose). Unless of course in the process you have broken the tube off the switch where the hose goes on. In this case replace the switch.

Washing machine overflowing

I'd have a look at your water level detector to start with. Usually a narrow bore hose running from near the bottom of the drum to a pressure switch somewhere near the top of the machine. Most common problem is that the hose gets blocked with gunk. With the machine off and drained, try removing the hose and giving both it and the barb on the drum that it came from a good clean through. A.
