My Opal Has An Unknown error

I try to put music on using windows media palyer and a pop up says there is an unknown problem

The unknown problem is usually one of the newer computer viruses that are getting into everything, just use a different site to get the music from. If that does not work then you probably just need to run a virus program through your comp. to get rid of it and then just try again...sorry if this does not work, sometimes it does other times it doesn't.

Sync to your windows media player....Labeling Unkown Songs: open Windows Media Player and go to libary click on artist. The sub folders will be named by the artists and the unknown songs will be in the sub that say's unknown. Click on unknown then right click on the title bar click Choose Columns put a check next to Genre, Rating, artist and album artist whatever you want. Right click song under artist and edit same with album artist or both and type in the name of the artist etc.... This change in your computers Music folders also then syc with your media player then load songs to it........Or drag and drop

Suddenly my player can't transfer music files(mp3) (using windows media player). a message pops out saying that an unknown error occured/ player disconnected. im not even touching it while it's connected!...


Hi ! it´s a better idea to transfer you music using the explorer make a folder with your favorite music and then copy to the device if your device appears as a mass storage device.... ;)

Windows Media Center proplem ( unknown Audio Error 80040155 )


Go to start : All Programs: Accessories: right click on Command Prompt, click run as administrator. click continue: you should see C:\Windows\system32> type there regsrv32 wmp.dll It should look like this C:\Windows\system32>regsrv32 wmp.dll
(make sure to put the space in between 32 and wmp)
An info box will appear. Click Ok then restart.
That should fix it!

Windows media player won't let me sinc


The firmware for RCA devices is not currently available and will no longer be, according to costumer service. Audiovox is not supporting the old devices like the opal. I guess when companies change hands it is no longer important for them to support the previous company's devices.
