    hi there
    thanks for the response
the cubes are full size and they almost completely all fall into the water tray, except for maybe a couple cubes of ice

I need a little more info. Are the cubes full size when they fall into the water tray, or are they just slivers of ice?

How do i get a service manual?

The bin sensor eyes need to be cleaned or replaced. First remove the front cover then remove the white plastic ice deflector shield. Now you should be looking at the evaporator plate look down you will see the water sump tray full of water in that tray is a black plastic grate that when the ice is harvested it drops and hits the tray keeping it from falling in sump tray PULL it OUT. now just behind the sump where the ice falls through opening on the left and right sides is where the ice full bin eyes are you can pull them out side ways there is plenty of wire so you can pull them up to where you can clean them with a soft cotton cloth with scotsman cleaner. Now for a manual goggle scotsman service manuals you can get a PDF file.

Cant find eyes that sense when the bin is full

Pull front cover off, pull the white plastic deflector off which covers the cube plate, pull the gray plastic ice deflector which sits in the water sump tray. now reach back and down where ice falls through into bin on each side and pull them straight out to the side. You can locate them buy following the wire from the controller to the bin eyes.

Where are the bin full sensors located for cme256ws-1c full light on will not make ice

The bin full sensors are located behind the water sump tray. Pull the front cover off remove the white plastic guard. Remove the ice deflector grate that is in the water sump tray. Now look where the ice falls down into the bin to the right and left side there is where the bin sensors are you have to pull them sideways you can also open the control panel and look where the bin sensor wire runs and follow it. pull the bin sensors and clean the eyes or replace them.

The ice machine continues to leak water into the area that the ice falls into

If the model is correct in the heading CM30? The problem is the water curtain. These are around $10 at the Scotsman parts house. When installing one always reuse the stainless steel piece that goes to help keep the curtain closed. Look at your old curtain for holes near the top, a deformed end not flapping back to cover the spray area.

The spray under the - behind the curtain should be in the shape of a cone.(Total of 2 nozzles). If not remove the nut and you will find a "spinner" it may have sediment inside it. The nut is knurled and hollow so the the nozzle unscrews with the knurled nut you'll have to hold the nozzle with a wrench and unscrew the nut with a pliers or other gripper. Don't deform the nut though.

If this helps you get the confidence to repair or the knowledge that you need a tech to help you please rate me as high as you can and thank you for using fix ya.
