Question about HP Officejet 4315v All-In-One InkJet Printer

Showing printer cartridge error

The printer will not print and it is saying that there is a cartridge error
I reinstalled the cartridges and still have the same issue. Could the crtridges be empty.

This can be a result of Wrong Cartridge. The models of the cartridge is not the ones which are supported normally by the printer. Every Printer has its own models of cartridges to use. The last reason which can be is that the Printer Head is faulty. Replace the Printer Head.

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

Can't find "cartridge error 50C" in my Dell owner's manual


Cartridge Error 50C
Your print cartridge has shorted.
  1. Power off your All-in-One and unplug it.
  2. Plug in your All-in-One again and turn it on.
  3. Uninstall and then reinstall your cartridges.
  4. If this does not resolve the issue, try the troubleshooting steps for the other cartridge errors below.
Cartridge Error
Complete the following instructions:
  1. Power off your All-in-One.
  2. Use both hands to lift up the scanner unit until the scanner support holds it open.
  3. Turn the All-in-One on. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.
  4. Remove the color print cartridge.
  5. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  6. If the error message reappears, replace the black print cartridge with a new print cartridge.
    If it does not repeat steps 1-3 and then go to step 7.
  7. Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black print cartridge.
  8. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  9. If the error message occurs again, replace the color cartridge.
  10. If an error message reappears, repeat steps 1-3 and reinstall both print cartridges.
  11. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  12. If you receive the error message again, replace both cartridges.

I just put in a yellow cartridge. Previously the printer was working just fine. Now it is showing an error code: 10.92.00 So I put the old yellow cartridge back in. The same error code now appears? He

This is your problem.
10.92.YY CARTRIDGES
NOT ENGAGED
alternates with
Open and close
front door.
The cartridges are not engaged,
poor primary transfer bias contacts,
defective high-voltage supply, or
control signal errors.
YY Description:
00 - Black print cartridge
01 - Cyan print cartridge
02 - Magenta print cartridge
03 - Yellow print cartridge
1. Open and close the front door to fully
engage the cartridges.
2. Reseat the print cartridges.
3. Check the printer primary transfer bias
contacts to the transfer unit. Clean if
dirty. If the contracts cannot be
cleaned or they are damaged, replace
the transfer unit.
4. Replace the high-voltage power supply
PCB.
5. Replace the DC controller PCB.

Print cartridge error


hi..
try to install and reinstall the cartridge to the printer...
maybe there is a loss connection between the printer and cartridge..

and also clean the tab circuit of the cartridge..and the tab circuit printer carrier where the cartridge is installed....^_^

if the problem still exist try to replace the tanks of the cartridge maybe the tanks was not recognized by the printer...

Is that an error code "Cartridge Error 50C" ? If so, see below....

Cartridge Error 50C: Your print cartridge has shorted.
1. Power off your All-in-One and unplug it.

Error: Black Cartridge Missing - The black cartridge is not installed. (Install cartridge PN 82)
Error: Color Cartridge Missing - The color cartridge is not installed (Install cartridge PN 83)
