Re: Inside Dish has a crack

If the inside stoneware has cracked, you can NOT use it. Liquid will leak out and potentially cause a shock hazard.

A china serving dish has a small place where the paint has chipped. If the spot is covered with matching paint and then with clear nail polish, what is the prognosis? (other suggestions welcome!!!)

Inside.....NO.... not suitable for serving food.... etc. Also it will cook into your food ..... YUK!! Outside.....will not hold up. Are you talking about China ... dishes to eat on? Or the pot that goes in Crock Pots? If you are talking about dishes to eat on.... and depending on where the chip is...... that might work. Always put that dish at your seat..... then you can avoid the area with your food.

An enamel cookware baking dish that I particulary like fell and cracked on the outside (red surface) and there is also a small chip in the inner area where the food is cooked. Is there anything I can do to...

the crack may get bigger with use and any repair would have to be with foor safe materials / you could only use it with a coking bag ( makes cleaning easy . but its probably time to replace it , mm

Euro-Pro glass dish to 7qt oval slow cooker cracked in half!

All glass has a shelf life! Really, it true! Glass will have stress fractures that can give way over time and result in breakage...even if you can't see them. Sometimes, the glass will fracture from improper handling. Buy my most likely guess, from your surprise reaction, is that the glass just broke! Try to find a replacement by contacting the mfg.
