This is a paper path jam. Somewhere in the paper path a sensor is activated indicating paper jam so the printer will give off a 6A00 code. A Canon tech advised me that, almost 90% of the time, this is related to the purge unit being jammed with something and not being able to move. Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crumbs, flower bud pods or the like. And yes she has found all those things in a purge unit. The offending item needs to be removed or the purge unit needs replacement. If it is still under Canon warranty, get it into a shop and save yourself the hassle.
Incidently, this error pertains to all Canon printers made in the last several years, its not just used in one model. And its always a paper path error or purge unit.
The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use. Also, its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing. That is why you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it. It also has a an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.
The purge unit is usually a white plastic assembly (on the right side of the printer where the print head homes) that is spring loaded and rides on a rail. You can try to move it back and forth (actually forward and back) about 5 times, close everything up, and restart. Note the the purge unit is NOT the print head! Also, wear surgical or other type of waterproof glove if you don't want to be marked for life with ink.
Hope this helps.

Error e03, but there is no jammed paper

E, 0, 3
Paper Output Tray is closed / Paper jam

Summary
If the Paper Output Tray is closed, open it. The machine resumes printing.

If opening the Paper Output Tray does not resolve the problem, or if the tray was open to begin with, the paper may be jammed. Remove the jammed paper, reload paper properly in the printer, then press the Black or Color button.

Says Paper Jam but ther is no paper jam

It appear from here that the exit sensor may be dirty and you can use canned air and blow it out.

You may also be missing the paper out sensor that is located at the bottom of the printer oposite of the paper tray when you pull it out. When the flag arm has fallin out, it will give a false paper jam error when the last sheet has printed from the tray, not knowing or detecting that the tray is now empty.

Ruppled printed paper cannot exit output tray

you need do follow steps:
1) check fuser unit, the fuser hot roller is hot or not? if not the fuser heater fail.
2) check hot roller should spin with the pressure roller which is against hot roller, and check there is no gap between them, and also nothing pieces paper obstruct there, because if it losts pressure balance that jam should be occured there.
3) check the output roller after fuser unit(if there is), check them are spin or not, this roller kit use for pull the paper goes out the tray. if not spin means the roller drive belt or gear loosen.
3) check paper sensor that is micro swtch around pulling roller or output area and to clean it (could be a optical sensor).

My OKI B6300 printer have problem: "pull out all trays, clear jam" & "clear jam & close cover A" These 2 screens keep alternating. I am familiar with saying, "clear jam & close cover A" because I had...

There are several reasons why this error keeps coming up, and seeing the date I will assume that you fixed it. But for those that are looking for the solution:
Sometimes it is caused by the feed rollers not picking up the paper - remove the trays and replace the rollers ($30 kit) both in the tray and in the printer.
Sometimes it is caused by a small piece of paper jammed in works somewhere. Remove all trays, turn it on its side and use a flashlight to look around. It really doesn't take much to mess it up.
Take a look at the tray roller and make sure it is spring loaded. If the spring comes out or the retarder breaks tis will cause misfeeds as well.

Photo tray output problem

I fixed it just now and easiest, following the step below:

1) Can you see the blue thing between the paper tray and the printing tray? That's the Output Tray! Just press it back in as much as u could
(but don't break it). Then you trying print (testing), they might have a paper jam but its normal. After the jam, they will tell to dismantle the jammed paper at the back.

2) Shut down (or restart) your printer (unplug the power switch or it won't work). Plug it in again and then just simply its done!

3) If it won't work, repeat the previous step again... Good Luck ;)
