How do I turn off the alarm on Armitron 45/7042?

I have followed instructions. I get into the alarm mode but then when I press "C" button, it just changes the time for the alarm. I then press "A" reset and it changes from hour to minutes. The alarm keeps beeping at me. I don't want the alarm on. Help.

This answer assumes everyone knows which buttons are A, B, and C, which isn't helpful if you don't have the instructions anymore.

In case someone else comes for answers.. to shut the alarm off on an Armitron Pro Sport MS063(R) 45/7042, push the top left (A) and top right (C) buttons at exact same time and hold down until you hear a beep. That turns alarm on/off.

I've been searching for a manual (or just answers, period!) for this watch for 45 minutes now. There are links shared everywhere (just like the links shared in these answers) but I have yet to find the manual to this specific watch. Directions from other Armitron watches do not work on this one, I've tried.

Now.. I will continue on my journey on figuring out how to turn the hourly chime off on it.

  • Amanda Wilburn May 27, 2020

Whew! Luckily found out the hourly chime issue too, by one of the other answers on here by Frann Lu! Yyeesss! (Didn't know that's what he was giving directions for since the original question was asking about the alarm).

So, to shut off the hourly chime on a MS063(R) 45/7042 Armitron Pro Sport watch, check out Frann Lu's answer on this page!

Press and hold the button on the top left corner. The display will change to showing what the last scheduled alarm was/is. While holding this button, press the bottom on the bottom left corner. If all of the days of the week appear at the top of the display, the hourly chime is on. If no days of the week appear, the hourly chime is off.

Instructions for Armitron All Sport 40/6623 time setting needed.

Here's how you set the 40/6623 M175 for anything. I figured it all out with help from here :). Okay so want to set the alarm? Press MODE once. Then hold it. And use the DATE and ALARM buttons to set the alarm. Press MODE twice and you're done. To set time do the step before this and press MODE once. Use the DATE and ALARM button to set the time. As for the 24 hr deal what you do is hold ALARM and press MODE or hold MODE and press DATE. To turn alarm on/off hold ALARM button and then press the DATE button. To set the date go to time set mode and keep cycling between the hours and mins until you get to the date :). That's all you gotta do :D. I know many of you need the instructions so here it is!!

Armitron All-Sport Watch Instructions By Brian Walker eHow Contributor 9 Found This Helpful The Armitron All-Sport is a unisex style of watch made by Armitron that features a digital readout and four buttons around the outer dial for adjusting various aspects of the watch. It can set alarms, keeps the time as well as the date, and has a built-in backlight. Accessing and adjusting these various settings is a fairly simple process.

Other People Are Reading

Setting Date, Time and Alarm
  • To enter the date and time setting mode, press and hold the "mode" button, located on the top-left of the watch. Continue holding this button until the display begins to flash. This first display is the alarm setting, should you choose to set an alarm to go off. If you'd like to set the alarm, use the "alarm" button on the bottom-right of the watch to advance the hours to the desired one. Then press the mode button again; this will cycle through the minutes and seconds of the alarm to allow you to set those as well. Once you have set the alarm, you can press the "date" button at the top-right of the watch to proceed to the regular time setting. These numbers, which will now be flashing, also are adjusted by pressing the alarm button to change them. Pressing the date button again will now cycle through the hours, minutes, seconds and the date. As you continue to press the date button, the All-Sport will continuously cycle through these options; don't worry if you forget to set one, you can simply press the date button a few times until you get back to the setting you need to change. Once the alarm, time and date have all been set, you can press the mode button one more time to exit to the normal watch mode that will display the date and time.
Using Chime and Alarm
  • The Armitron All-Sport features both an alarm and an hourly chime. The alarm function will cause the watch to continuously beep at the selected time until you turn it off by pressing a button. The chime will cause the watch to beep once every hour. You can turn both these features on and off by pressing and holding the alarm button and while holding it pressing the date button. The first time you do this, the chime will turn on and a small house symbol will be displayed on the watch face. Performing this button-pressing sequence again will turn on the alarm, which in turn displays a small clock icon on the watch face. Each successive pressing of this button sequence will alternate between the chime and the alarm, turning them either on or off.
Backlight
  • The All-Sport also features a built-in backlight to help you view the watch in dark conditions. This light can be activated by pressing the "light" button on the bottom-left of the watch. Pressing this button is the only way to activate the light, and doing so will only cause the watch to illuminate for a few seconds at a time.

How to set an Armitron WR330 Watch

he following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an analog watch. "ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button: minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.
The website listed below has many instruction sheets, but does NOT have instructions for this watch as of 25 December 2008.
