Question about JVC KD-S5050 CD Player
I just bought a Dual XHD7714, but the wires in my 1990 Jeep Cherokee are different colours than that of what is in the deck. Can you help me figure out which wire is which? I need the following- Memory, Front/Back pos/neg. If you can help me, that would be fantastic. Thanks for the help!
The easiest and most efficient way to hook up your old radio harness to a new head is to use a harness adapter that is made for your vehicle.
If you have not cut off the old plug that went into the old radio then it would be a simple matter of plugging the adapter harness into the old plug and color matching the wires from the adapter to the new head wires, which will be the same colors.
If you go on line to - Installer.com you probably will find the correct adapter for your vehicle. There are other on-line stores that deal with adapters, as well.
If the old plug was cut, it may be possible to splice the plug back to the original wires, then it's a matter of plugging the adapter plug into it.
Hope this helps...
