Question about Nintendo Wii Console
I turned on the wii system and it was buzzing. there was a disk in it, my first thought was takingin it out would stop the buzzing. however the buzzing persisted, so i persisted to turn off the wii. however the buzzing still continued until i unplugged the system. however the next time i turned on the system, it made a buzzing noise untill i put in a game and started it. I'm just worried that this could be a long term issue.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: nintendo wii wont turn on
i've had the same problem twice, each time unplug all connentions including ac, i believe problem is with the 12 volt external supply. wait a minute plug in dc connection then plug in ac at wall outlet. if that works reconnect i/o cables. seems to be a wii weak point

Ya I have the same problem but don't really know whats going on with it. I don't think its the Disc. I think it something with the reader.

This is a hardware failure. Sending it Nintendo is the only option. Unless you think you have the skills to repair it yourself. Here is the link to Nintendo
If you want to repair it yourself you need a wii dvd drive. Any version works.
