Try the Universal remote control URC-R6 it works fine with my Truetech.
The bad thing about my Truetech PLV16190 19" Flatscreen, 30days after I purchase the remote the tv went out. Screen Black, but sound works fine.
I would have to say Version A.Only because I have the same model TV that I also needed a remote for,and I used the remote I had for a Trutech PLV1615T 15" LCD TV.I tried a remote I had for a Trutech PLV16260 26" that looks almost identical to the Version B,but that one didn't work. It's funny,if you look at the remote for the 15" in the picture,it looks like Version a of the 19",but when you click on the picture, and look under accessories for the 15",the remote is different.Blue triangle buttons. Here are the websites to the remotes.I hope this helps.Thank You very much!
Very likely have blown fuses and capacitors in both the power supply and the backlight inverter sections. Repair is best left to a technician unless you are tech savy and able to use a soldering iron.
If your TV is an LCD (flat/thin panel), then it's 19", not 20". Support for that TV is at http://www.1800customersupport.com/trutech.
But, if you have a Trutech tube TV, then it won't be listed on that website, and they won't be able to help you. In that case, call Target Customer Service (1.800.440.0680), and they should be able to put you in touch with the manufacturer, who can sell you a new remote control.
