Question about Acer Aspire 3000 Notebook
You will need to visit the manufacturer's website and hope to find Vista drivers for your unit You will need ALL available Vista drivers starting with the chipset drivers in order to make all of this work properly. Find and download the chipset drivers first, then the network adaptor. Copy the drivers to a USB drive to transfer them to your computer. It gets easier once the network adaptor is up and you can get on line to do the rest. If you can't find drivers for Vista on the manufacturer's website, you may just be stuck with the previous software version you had.
