Tnx. The problem was indeed the magnetic float, we ordered a new water tank (20 euro) en everything works fine again.

Do you have a digital model?

If so, then you probably have a magnetic float in your water container. The float is hollow, so if it is ever punctured or wears a hole in it then water will fill and stop it from floating.

Also, if the cap that holds the magnetic float into its chamber comes off and the float is released then it won't be there to trigger the water level sensor in the machine.

If the magnetic float is in place and floats to the top of its chamber when there is water in it and it still says there is no water, you might simply need to ventilate. Run some water through the steam arm. If that doesn't work then switch the machine off, then back on. If that fails, you might need to take it to a technician.

The water light comes on and stops the machine from working even if water is full

There's a float (with a small magnet) in the watertank. This float should go up when the tank is filled with water.
So the float can be stuck in the bottom position, or the sensor doesn't work.
You can test the sensor.
  • Take the left cover off: two screws on the back, slide the cover backwards, then lift the bottom up and pull the toppart out downwards.
  • On the main board there's a plug right at the top, that's the cable from the watertank-sensor. With the watertank removed it shouldn't conduct.
  • Now fill the watertank, check whether the float is going up, put the tank back in the machine.
  • The sensor switch should be conducting now. It it is, then the problem is in the control board.
Hope this helps!

Can't get system fill message off jura impress z5

My guess would be that your water tank float is trapped.
The remidy would be to descale the watertank itself.
If you use the Calris filter cartridge. remove it before descaling with a mild commercially available descaler. Don't forget to rinse thorrowly afterwards and reinsert the filter. Always use cold water to fill the watertank.
Hope this helps

When i discale my Z5 the machine stops after cleaning the caputower and then stays in his programm and doesn't go fearther. What can I do to make the programm go to the end.

Be sure to measure up the correct amount of water before starting up the descaling program. It should be 600ml. Then be aware that the program takes about 45 minutes, and is in two steps. The first 35 minutes is for the 600ml in the watertank. You will then be asked to empty tray, and fill watertank. You can now fill up the watertank with fresh, cold water. Then the machine will complete the program (about 10 minutes) with fresh water, rinsing the system.

So; Be accurate in measuring the correct amount of water (solvent)-600ml
and be patient, this takes about 45 minutes.

Our Comfort machine won't brew and constantly displays, "Fill Watertank" even with the tank full. In order to brew, one has to remove the water tank then gently lower it only partially down in place. As...

The magnet in the water tanks is either upside down or has sunk to the bottom of the tank. It should float to the top of the cage it is in and it should have a flat top not rounded. If its rounded side up the magnet is upside down. This is what would cause your problem.

Screen says 'Fill Watertank' when watertank is clearly full.

Sounds like the sensor that detects system water levels has failed.
