If you have direct tv satelite try unplugging the satelite system for 30 seconds or any satelite system for that matter. If this dosen't fix it try the tv unplugging. If not look for a physical switch that may be off position. Lastly go to the menu and see if the speakers are off. If this does not fix it you may have audio problems inside the set.

I had an amplifier hooked up and it went bad. discconnected it and now we have no sound. Went through the manual and changed the settings but still no sound, any suggestions?

recheck the cable connection, and use the multimeter for measure the continuity, and replace if necessary, clean for oxide, corrosion use the WD-40 and try again.
If the problem persis go to the repair shop TV.

my laptop produce no sound at all and everytime i try to play an audio this words will display "Bad sound drive".i went lost my stater driver for my laptop and went to the computer workshop to fix it.they suggest me to download the driver online.i have tried many time to click on the related link but laptop model is Acer Aspire 3683NWXCi / Acer operating system is Windows XP.please guide me on how to download the sound card driver online.thank you.

Picture and sound went out suddenly on a Sony KV-35S40

sony has problem with bad picture tubes as well as flyback transformers .if you have shorted hori output then replace it if set shorts it out again your looking at bad flyback transformer as well as maybe leaky tube.
