I'm using linksys wireless-g access point WAP54G in accomadation i need to put password i've only brought cable from central network and connected to router and our admin isn't here so can i put password by myself?
First you must be sure you are connected to the router (by wireless or cable). Than you have to open a browser and access 192.168.1.245. You will be asked for an username and passowrd. Username case leave it blank and the password is admin
To set a password for wireless you need to go to wireless configuration. For more detailed info look in the users guide at chapter 3. You can find user guide here : http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/WAP54G
The default password for your router is "admin". Leave the user name blank. If a password has been set, you can reset the router or wait for the admin. When you log in, you will be able to change the password.

I need create a password
NO sorry i'm a new so i think i couldn't explain what i need we have in accomadation only one network router we are connected to that router this is allocated in 1 floor and i just connected to that router and my admin gave me the access point which i'm using with password 1 month before and somebody reset the my access point so now i don't have password i'm trying to create a password with cd but it's telling me i need to connect access point with network router but admin isn't here and so can i put password to access point directly or it must to connect network router?

I am not sure about your post. Do you need to reset the password or do you need the default password?
