If your yahoo account was just deactivated (due to non-use or your deletion attempt) within last 90 days, you can reactivate it by logging in again. However, once deleted fully or beyond the deactivated 90 days period, there is no way you can recover that account. However, you can create a new account with that name. you has this **** policy of deactivating any user id that is not active for a speculated period of time. I guess its to free the memory in its server or something. You can reactivate your mail id once you login. You would have lost all your mails though...

I think you might be able to use a mail program like windows mail or incredimail (free download) and then import your yahoo stuff, Yahoo is a pop server so you should be able to open windows mail create a new account and get the server information from yahoo support, I know the one will probably be pop.yahoo.com and the smtp server should be smtp.yahoo.com not too sure but give it a shot...Steve

HOW CAN I GET BACK TO MY TRUSTED YAHOO MAIL ACCOUNT MAVIN193@YAHOO.CA ??? HELP PHILLIP 416 858 3761 TORONTO ITS DISAPPERED??

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN INACTIVE ?

Your Yahoo ID is linked to a broad array of Yahoo services, from Yahoo Messenger to online games. A Yahoo ID must be deleted from a laptop or desktop, not a mobile device. Only get rid of your Yahoo ID if you're certain you'll never need it again, because there is no option to change your mind and get your ID back once it's gone.

Deleting a Yahoo ID
When you delete a Yahoo ID, you lose access to all programs associated with it, including Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Groups and Yahoo Finance Portfolio. Deleting your Yahoo ID will not remove your listing from the Yahoo People Search, however, so your profile will continue to appear in search results unless you delete your listing before deleting your ID. Lost Information b> When a Yahoo ID is removed from the system, Yahoo deletes all of the data associated with the account, including your email messages. You cannot recover this information once it is removed; creating a backup copy of your data on a computer or external storage device is the only way to preserve it for future reference. b> Reactivating Dormant Email As long has your Yahoo email has only gone dormant -- and not been deleted as the result of an ID termination -- you can reactivate the account. Yahoo automatically makes an email account dormant if the user hasn't signed in more than four consecutive months. To reactivate such an email account, you must sign in via computer using your Yahoo ID and password, and choose "Reactivate Without Account Protection." Yahoo permanently deletes old emails when an account is deactivated, but you can resume sending and receiving email once you reactivate the account. b> Considerations b> Some premium services are not cancelled along with a Yahoo ID deletion. If you signed up for a paid service, such as Yahoo Mail Plus, the company recommends manually canceling the service -- independent of your Yahoo ID deletion -- to avoid future bills. Canceling a Yahoo ID doesn't disqualify you from signing up again in the future with a new ID, but you cannot reactivate the same ID. Hope this helps.

Delete yahoo account

If you wish to delete your entire Yahoo! account (including Mail, Messenger, profile, other Yahoo! services), go to the "Delete user" page, and follow the instructions:
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user

Please note that's a permanent and complete deletion, which removes all aspects of a Yahoo user account.

See also this Yahoo! help page:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/account/account-11.html

-------------------------------
If you simply wish to close the Yahoo! Mail account (but without deleting other Yahoo! services), you should simply stop using the account. Yahoo! deactivates email accounts which are not used for 120 days. (You may later reactivate the Yahoo! Mail account if you wish, although you cannot restore old email messages.)

See this Yahoo! help page:

Hello,

Unfortunately if you have deleted the account there is no way to reactivate it. You can try to create a new account with the same name.

Thanks

I can't reactivate my account.

If you have not logged into your account in 4 months Yahoo! will deactivate it and will result to complete loss of your emails. You can reactivate it by logging into Yahoo! Mail account again and click on the "reactivate without account protection." link found in the lower area.

Hope this helps.

How do i reactivate my yahoo account?

If you go to the Help page for Yahoo and read about deleting your account, you'll see at least two places where you are told that you will not be able to reactivate your account.

The Help page link is:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/ch...

The first caution says:
Please be sure you want to delete your entire account as you will not be able to reactivate it after the account has been deleted. You are always welcome to sign up again for a new account.

And the second one says:
Please complete the deletion process only if you are certain you would like to remove your entire Yahoo! account and any features you have personalized within the account. After the deletion process is initiated, your Yahoo! account can never be recovered.

It looks to me like you'll have to sign up for a new account. Maybe you can get the same Yahoo! ID (but I kind of doubt it).

I wish you good luck in straightening out your situation.
