My phone got wet a few weeks ago . Some keys wont work but it was working fine . Untill yesterday, The screen went black . It lights up as if everythings fine and you can feel the vibrations from when you...

There is no way to fix it. Once the phone has liquid damage that affects the screen, you have to use your insurance to get a replacement (if you have insurance). Otherwise, you need a new phone.

    Fix Trackball

There are 3 solutions. Please consider them carefully and check with your vendor where you bought your BB in case either would cancel your warranty or insurance.

    STEP 1

Remove the trackball yourself and replace it with a new trackball. The problem with this solution is if you break anything while attempting to fix it, you'll be worse off. If you are daring, I can find you a video link which you can watch online (on desktop or laptop) while you attempt the replacement.

    STEP 2.

Take it to a licensed dealer you trust (maybe where you plan to purchase the trackball) and have them replace it for you.

    STEP 3

Now, I know you said "do it yourself" but, it might be better to take it back to your vendor and have the BB replaced under warranty or insurance. Note that under either circumstance you do not get a new BB. They are refurbished BBs. They look like new but you risk getting one not as good as the one you have now. When they have to order you a replacement phone, you keep yours until it arrives and then make the switch.

I dropped my LG Chocolate in water and put it in a bag of rice for 24 hours. Everything works perfectly except the screen, which turns blue when the phone is on. How do I fix this.

If you have insurance on your phone getting it wet will invalidate all warranties and insurance. The only time insurance can be used if the phone is malfunctioning (not from getting wet), or LOST. If your phone is lost, they will give you a brand new one under the insurance policy.

The only piece of a mobile that can go bad when dunked is the LCD screen if it has liquid in it.

    1. If you do not want to purchase anything, you can try to remove the lens from the LCD screen and see if any water is between the lens and the lcd. (the lens is the glass that covers the lcd which is usually stuck on with double sided tape.)

    2. You can purchase a new lcd and install it.

    3. to disassemble the phone follow these instructions:

    4. replace the screen, and the phone should be good as new.

My curve tracball, grn tele buttons wont work why?

If you have had your phone for under a year, return it and they will give you another phone. If you have insurance on your phone and you have not gotten it wet (VERY IMPORTANT!) take it back and they will give you another one. If you have gotten the phone wet or dropped it etc, the insurance will not cover the phone unless it has been lost.

    There are 2 possible reasons:

    1. Hopefully, the phone contacts are just dirty. Unfortunately to find this out, you are going to have to disassmble the phone. Here are instructions.

Make sure that the contacts underneath are clean. Use rubbing alcohol and a QTip to clean the contacts as well as the underneath of the buttons in question. Make sure the contacts on the underside of the buttons are making contact with the main board and are not broken.

    2. the other alternative is that there is a short on your main board. There is no recovery from this.

    LG VX9400 won't stop vibrating

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

    Keeps freezing and rebooting

Most likely this is a memory issue.  Go in to your options and advanced settings to check for available memory. Remove programs you do not use.  I am posting a link below that will help you free up memory.
    Hope this helps.

Curve 8300 - my phone will not ring, only vibrate

you need to sync your phone with your computer then do a wipe of handheld. this will erase everything but since you have synced you can go and restore from the computer. make sure you back up to computer first. if this does not fix it it needs to be replaced thru warranty or insurance.
