NEW BATTERY & ALTERNATOR FITTED BUT CAR RUNS OFF BATTERY UNTIL FLAT
Is there power on the small plug of the alternator to turn on the alternator field to allow for charging? How do you know it is not charging? Using a volt meter in series with the battery you should have approx. 14.2-14.6 volts if the alternator is producing voltage.
Is there any dash lights on? Check the alternator fuses!

hmmm, sounds like an ignition switch problem. Not the tumbler/key switch, the ignition switch.
SOURCE: It has a new battery and a new alternator....
How about a new fuel filter? And fuel pressure test?

looks like you have something draining the battery (something electrical staying on) disconnect your battery negative terminal and connect a test light between the battery post and the wire clamp if the light comes on you have battery drain (make sure interior light is out when testing) you now need to go through all elctrical systems to trace the reason why ( check boot light goes out first this was a favorite cause)

You got to have a leakage of current from a wire to the body of the car which is draining he battery all the time. Look for the fault using a line tester.............sodeep
SOURCE: the new alternator will not
I would check fuses and relays first..Check the voltage coming off the alternator on the big red wire,,instead of across the battery..Some cars still use a fusible link..You would no that if you have charging voltage at your alternator but not at the battery..Should be 14.0 volts or close to it..with no load
