Question about Canon imageCLASS D761 Copier
The paper is jammed in the area where a copy is supposed to come out. I was able to pull most of the paper out, but there is one side that will not budge. I can see the paper, but it just won't budge. Before I call a repairman, I would like to see if I can fix it myself.
I'am sorry to say that you have to replace the fusing unit on that machine, when it jams inthe fuser like that the fusing unit is going bad. the fusing units range from: $200.00 to $295.00 plus service call. You may think about replacing it, sorry for the bad news. I've worked on about 5 of those machines with the same problem and it always comes down to replacing the fusing unit, even if you get the paper out it will jam again.
