Locked phone goes on then home page then too screensaver but nothing after

You will want to take the battery completely out of the phone, leave it out for a good 2 minutes at least. Go ahead and put it back in.

Turn on the phone, if it is still locked up then you have a pretty serious hardware issue on your hands. Please take it in to your service provider (AT&T, Verizon, whoever) and have them check the phone out, you can probably call them as well, but it's always better in person. They will be able to repair / replace the phone for you if need be.

So sorry, but there really isn't much more you can try in your case.
