Question about HP Officejet 4315 All-in-One Printer
Are you absolutely sure the printer is connected securely from both ends of the cable and turned on? If so, try turning it off and on again. Did it come online?
If not, how is the printer connected to your computer? Is it by USB cable, or via a network cable? And also let me know your operating system like XP or Vista etc.

This is fixed by doing the following: Go to "Control panel" "printers" double click on "HP 4315." Click on "Printer" on the menu across the top. The drop-down menu has "use printer offline" Uncheck this.
