Sync music from my Mac to my Juke phone

When I first plugged in my Juke phone to my Mac, I was able to just drag songs onto the Juke icon and they would show up on my phone's play list. I could listen to them fine. But one day, my phone suddenly showed zero songs. When I connected the phone to the Mac and opened the icon on the computer, the songs were still there. But I can't get the phone to show or play anything now.

I'd appreciate your help. Thanks!

i'm having the exact same problem as cara. when i first plugged in my juke (to my mac) i could just click and drag songs into the file. now, although the computer recognizes that the phone is there, i can't sync any files--i'll put music onto the phone (and when i check the phone's music memory it says that memory has been used--so the songs are on the phone) but they don't show up. when i try and play the music it shows that there are zero songs, even though the phone is showing that memory has been taken up.

I plugged the Juke into the Mac and was able to transfer a couple songs I had chosen, just to try it out. Then when I tried to add more, the number of songs on the phone went to zero even though the computer recognized the phone's storage system.

Because everyone else has had the same problem, I'm assuming Jukes are not compatible with Macs, is this true?

I have a mac/juke problem but it is not quite the same. I cannot get my mac to see my juke. I have gotten it to see it about 4 times and have been able to put music on it, but probably about 10 times randomly the mac will just not see the phone. In other words I cannot even get the telechips thing on my desktop even though my phone says that it is ready to sync. I have been unable to try the disk utility fix because my mac has not responded to my juke for 3 days now.

Suddenly, my phone lost all of its music files, and gives errors when I try to sync.

I had plugged it into a Mac to recharge in the past... but the last recharge
was on a PC, and still, it is dead.

Windows media player gives errors "unable to unlock secure clock" when trying to synch.

Is there not a way to re-format the music/data storage area on these phones?

Mac JUKE Solution ,I have 416 songs on my JUKE and here is how I did it. Plug your JUKE into your Mac ,turn it on , go to music on your JUKE ,scroll to <sync music> close your JUKE. Look on your desk top for <TELACHIPS> go to Applications then Utilities then Disc Utility. Open Disk Utility click on the <1.9 GB Samsung Drive Icon> select <partition> under format select <Mac OS extended Journaled> run the program . Now you have a Mac Drive an can drop and drag iTunes into the <music. folder inside the TELACHIPS icon . If you have bought music from iTunes DON'T put it on your JUKE it is locked and will screw things up! there are ways to unlock them, It's all on the Internet

Connect your Juke phone to the mac. Go to the Telechip folder. Inside the Music folder you must put an Artist folder. Inside that put an Album folder and inside that put your songs. Telechip>Music>Artist's name>Album name>music

I had the same problem, the way to fix it is hit the center button, to go to the "menu", then go to "music", select "Sync Music". Hide or minimize all windows and find the "TELECHIPS" folder, which will show up as a white drive right below your "Macintosh HD" icon, open up iTunes and minimise the right side of the itunes window, so you can see the folder on the desktop, drag the music you want from from your iTunes library onto the "TELECHIPS" icon. Once you have done this, pick up your Juke and flip it open, hit the center button to go to "Menu", go to "Settings & Tools" and hit "#", then hit "000000" (zero x 6), press the center button to accept the password, this will allow you into the System Info Menu, now scroll down to "MTP Setting", if it hasn't been working it is probably on the "MTP" setting, now switch it to "MSM" this should disconnect the Juke from your Mac, and you will get a pop up "Device Removal" warning saying "The device you removed was not properly put away. Data might have been lost or damaged. Before you unplug your device, you must first select its icon in the Finder and choose Eject from the File menu." --- now hit clear or end, go back to the menu (center button) and go to music, your music should be there. Disconnect the phone, go to your "Menu" then "Music", close the phone and go to "Artists" or "All" and enjoy the music!
Hope this review helps!!!

Ok, I'm having the same problem. I didn't want to reformat, so this is what worked for me. I plugged the phone to my mac. The TELACHIPS icon appeared. I could see all the songs in the music folder. On the phone I navigated to sync music. Nothing seemed to happen. With the phone still connected I navigated to "My Music". On the mac screen came a window telling me the device was improperly disconnected. Oh well all my songs show up on the phone. This has worked two times. Give it a try!

What I've discovered is that if it's not already formatted as a Mac OS Extended Journaled it needs to be, under disk utility raid, but mine already was so I kept trying to figure out why I wasn't able to change it, go figure. It seems they're making them to be able to use them with mac now

This problem was same to me this is how i fixed myn I went to verizon for help and brang my mac laptop he said that he will delete everything on my phone to start over. After that we went threw the laptop and then said wait a sec ur problem is that u have AIFF songs and the waay he gounf out was he hit apple I and it told him some info. I said what is that, he told me that i need mp3 songs he went threw all my songs and found three mp3 so he put them on and it worked he then asked me that i could invert the soungs to mp3 i asked how he said he didnt know so after three weeks i found out how All i did was take the AIFF song and placed it in Itunes, then went to prefrences on iTunes, then went to advanced, then went to importing and clicked on Import Using: MP3 encoder, then if u wanted to burn it i changed the disk format to MP3 CD. Once i was done i pressed ok. Then went up on the bar when u are on itunes and it has Advance i clicked on that and went down and found out i fixed it and changed it to covert to MP3 so i coverted it and draged the song on to desktop but it was still on iTunes. which when I had my MP3 songs they were on QuickTime so i held down on the keyboard apple I and went to open with at the bottom and changed it to QuickTime and it worked i could listen to my music

If you have all your music elsewhere, JUST REFORMAT the JUKE. I was using Vista and Media Player. I was afraid to reformat (using Media Player to do it) because I thought I might erase my contacts. I didn't, and everything is working smoothly now. Perhaps reformatting from Mac OS would work as well.. Probably.

The jukes aren't supposed to be compatible with macs (you're SUPPOSED to use windows media player to sync it). but it doesn't make sense that the juke would work with clicking and dragging for macs and then just stop.

I need to know how to change my ipod back from auto sync to manualfor 8g ipod nano 4th generation

On Mac or PC, it's the same... This is a preference setting in iTunes.
Open iTunes software, from the left top menu called iTunes, drop down to "preferences" then choose "devices" check off where it says "prevent ipods and iphones from syncing automatically"

The other spot to make sure you are controlling the music manually is;
Plug in sync cable, your ipod shows up on left column in iTunes, at the summary tab (default view) it shows a window on your screen that has three sections: ipod model, version and on the bottom it has "options" be sure to check off "manually manage music & videos." remember you can drag songs directly onto your ipod icon. (on a Mac anyway) Good luck.

Songs don't want to synchronize onto my device

First you need to sync device before adding songs. First plug in device, than make sure computer notices player. Than go into media player or music folder and sync device. Than you can either create a sync list from there, or you can drag songs from music folder into your player folder.

Open start menu, my computer, E,F, or G drive should have player on it. You can drag songs from music folder into this drive folder and they will be automatically added

Trying to sync music onto my lg dare

Instead of doing the sync music, try saving your music into your itunes account or on a flash drive. Than just plug your phone into the computer, click on settings, then tools, then USB mass storage. Open the file on your computer, than simply drag and drop your songs from the file on the computer or flash drive, into the phone's file folder. Drop it into your memory card on your phone or just in my music. (I personally recommend getting a micro SD card for the phone so you can hold more songs) good luck!

Downloading music

Oh.. If I know that mp3 player, it's a USB2 type (Where you plug it directly into your computers open USB slot).

I could list alot of sites where you can buy songs, but if you have some on your computer, It's just a drag-and-drop situation.

Running Windows XP? Drivers should automatically enable it to run from your system. Try doing the following.

Open "My Computer" after plugging the player in. If you see it, you can just grab a song from your collection and drop it straight into the player.

Also Media player might be able to sync your music, but I prefer this method... Less of a hassle.
