10 hp HM100 on a generator. hunting and surging since new. called for a J17 plug. install a J19 (hotter plug) to fix.
The J17 cannot keep the combustion chamber hot enough for a complete burn so it might seem like a carb problem (fuel starvation).

The gy-hm100 can record to sdhc media up to 32gb in each slot (total 64gb). For best performance you must use class 10 sd cards. Your camera may need updated firmware that enables class 10 support so check the JVC Pro website and follow the firmware instructions if you haven't done so already. Also, make sure your card is formatted and unlocked with plenty free space. 4 gb is not much at all and a card that size may not be of sufficient speed to operate correctly in the gy-hm100.
Did you buy the starter separate? If it came with the engine, it should already be hooked up. If you have to wire it yourself, there is a PDF file online (Tecumseh Technician's Handbook) that tells how to wire it up.
you could try a briggs and strtton dealer as they took over generac but think with it being a tecunseh engine you will have a big problem as that side of the company went under a few years back, sorry cant be of more assistance
