Hi cgcol

I just had the same problem with the same boiler and was recommended to get in touch with a company called Wolseley uk. http://www.wolseley.co.uk/servlet/reality/rscp/IN.BRADETFRMBP1?app=centers&ses=99999|47543&website=www.wolseley.co.uk
link is to their website branch locator. You need to click on parts center on the left hand side of your screen under branch locator, then put your post code in as easy as 123. The parts you need are o rings. They come as a set, their part number for the set is 459382 FROLI 39817620 ORING SET as shown on my invoice. Only cost £7.19 + VAT. Plus bought 798007 REGIN REGZ40 SILICONE GREASE 50G cost £5.47 + VAT (smallest size they do). This is to lube Orings before fitting and pushing pipes together. Make sure you have turned all stop taps off that are under the boiler and drained rads.
Hope this has been a help!

I went to my local car spares shop with the o-rings and matched them to the ones they sell, I paid £2 for all 8. Once I had cleaned up all the pipework then popped on the new o-rings using silicone spray, I had no more leaks.

Drain tube is most likely stopped up on the heat/cooling exchanger and running over. Locate the drain and clean it out and your problem should be solved.

Water to hot for gas boiler boiler gos off

It could be dyslexia, but I think you want to know what may be wrong with your boiler in this case!
This is a VERY old design. The diaphragm is on the water section, this operates a switch to turn ON the pump, and a further device causes the diverter valve to divert boiler water from CH duty to HW duty.
From your description it appears that the boiler is shutting down on internal boiler water temperature (too high), your 'briefly too hot' HW symptom may be caused either by the boiler side of the secondary heat exchanger being blocked/caked in sludge, OR the DHW side of it being scaled. Either way a new or replacement (descaled) secondary heat exchanger MAY inprove things. It's not easy on these old clunk-pots, and EVERY disturbed seal will subsequently leak, so get a good supply of o-rings and fibre seals before you start ("you" being the competant fitter you employ)

My Gaggia Syncrony Compact has developed some sort of leak. Every few days I notice a pool of water spreading across the countertop in our pantry and pooled under the machine. The leak might be happening...

HI
I would suspect the seal on the machine where the tank sets on the machine. There is a plastic cap that looks like a doughnut, that will pry off (there are 2 hooks, 1 on each side). The seal is under neath. If you can stick your finger in the center of the seal and lift it out it needs to be replaced. When you put the new one in, run your finger nail around the outside edge of the seal to get it to slip in or you could damage the new seal.

Water is leaking out of the far right burner tube, while pool pump is running.

sounds like you either have a pinhole in your heat exchanger or possibly a bad tube washer (seal). A pinhole can result from poor water chemistry or chemical exposure such as pH chronically low or a chemical feeder (chlorinator or salt cell) installed near the heater without a chemical resistant check valve. You will have to dismantle the heater far enough to access the heat exchanger and inspect it while the pump is running. If it's a pinhole in the exchanger, you will need a new exchanger. If its a seal, you will just need a new set of seals (washers) for the exchanger manifold.
