There should be a menu button on the set. or you can try unplugging the set for a minute and plug it back in this may reset it. if none of this works get a universal remote

My tv is zoomed in and the remot is lost so I can't access the menu to fix it is there a way to reset the screen to normal view.

Going to need an original remote to attempt to undo this--universal will of course not work for this issue.

I have a TruFlat RCA model # 27F520T have lost original remote and FPA lock is on how do I unlock without original remote? Dish universal remote not working to unlock tv, it will pull up menu but cannot...

Try this -
  1. Press menu for main menu.
  2. Press CH + or CH - to highlight preferences.
  3. Press "OK" to enter preferences submenu.
  4. Press CH + or CH - to high light "FPA"
  5. Press VOL + or VOL - to turn the FPA on or off.
  6. Press MENU repeatedly to exit.
  7. Back to normal
  • FPA stands for Front Panel Lock. It makes it so kids don't push all the buttons on the front of your TV. The power button on the TV will still work and the remote will still function as normal.

I have a Mitsubishi Model VS45603. We lost power

You will have to select the TV Menu (on the remote), go to NET COMMAND, and reassign all your devices and inputs again. You may even want to go to SETUP first to be sure the screen, video, audio, color, is what you want before assigning devices to inputs.

Lost remote control. can't change language

It is always more difficult to operate the menu features of a tv using the manual buttons on the tv. I recommend you unplug the ac cord of the tv from the wall for a day while you go out and buy a universal remote control. After plugging the tv back in and turning it on initially most television on screen prompts immediately direct you to the set up menu which includes setting the language.

Follow the instructions on the universal remote and program the remote to the tv using the power button on the remote to determine if you have reached the right code. It will then be possible to operate the menu features of the tv via the remote control and thus change the language back to english.

The problem with my NEC 68T90 TV is that the screen resolution is not correct. At 4:3 ratio, I can't see the sides of any video or TV program that I'm watching. Is there a problem with the hardware?

Try the aspect button on your remote, or if you have this hooked up to a cable or satellite converter, there are screen resolution preferences, you can change the screen resolution here, go the the menu portion and look for video/audio field

Tv probblem

You should be able to access all the menu features from the front of the set. Or keep in mind, you can purchase any mitusbish remote and it will do most things, Just look for format button. I may even have one if you need one. Let me know if i helped you solve your problem. Good Luck. Jay

Turning off PIP without remote

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote:
1) Turn off the tv.
2) Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button.
2-b) Continue to hold down the Action until the tv powers all the way up, and the reset menu comes up - be patient.
Expected Reslut: Self check menu should appear.
Expected Reslut: The pesky pip screen will be gone!
If the self check menu does not appear, you did not hold the Action button long enough.
Simply begin from step one.
