Re: Same exact same problem
Don't worry the ram didn't cause it. I need a little more info to solve this, like does it post? Does it light up or anything? Is the monitor getting a video signal? If it does post, turn it off & clear the cmos & try it again. You'll need to reset the date & time after this & boot order if you changed it.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

i would send it back mate as if they definitely worked a week ago and they are not damaged there must be a problem with your player it could be nothing but at the same time it could be one of those units that are brilliant all the time until stupid things like that happen every so often i know it may only happen once in a blue moon but at the end of the day its a expensive unit and you should expect the highest possible quality and consistency of playing
so, you eman you power it up , get the OS in working mode and then the START button freezes up ? i dont quite understand.
if you are interetsed, send me your contact information (phone #) and i willc all you
or i strongly suggest you take it back to the seller and get them to figure out why this is occuring
first of all, did you shut down the laptop compltely since that happened? sometimes there's a lot of stupid things happening with computers-suddenly drivers stop working etc. Try restart the computer if you haven't done so before.
if that doesn't help, install the drivers from Toshiba site. I can help you find the drivers if you can tell me which exact model you have of the laptop, and if you know the exact model of the sound card it would really help
You have to be holding Wii Remotes in your hands for it to recognize the motions. Check the instruction manual for a description of exactly what it wants from you in terms of the kind of motion. It's probably just looking for you to shake the remotes around. My understanding of DDR Hottest Party is that the hand motions were not very well implemented, but I haven't played it myself.
This board will support up to 2gb as shown below extacted from the website product page.Don't forget that if you have ddr 333 memory installed originally, you can only add the same clock speed memory, i.e. ddr 333. If you add ddr333 and ddr400 you will have problems as the clock speeds do not match. If you are matching clock speeds, the try bootin the system with the new piece of memory on its own to see if there is a problem with that stick, trial an error of both sticks individually, will give a positive result
Single-channel DDR memory architecture
2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM socket support up to 2 GB
Support DDR400/333 DDR SDRAM
The exact same thing just happened to me (WD elements 500 gig) and it's only about 10 months old. I called the customer help line (on the official website) and after they asked me what the serial number of my HD was they were going to send me a new power supply. Simple as that. They said they'd be able to send it out early next week. I'm hoping that the HD didn't get fried and it's just the power supply but what you've described is EXACTLY what is happening to mine.
imondeau, do you still have you're manual for the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium? Please turn to page 2-12 & 2-13.
Need the manual? Click the link below & download it. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=A8N-SLI%20Premium&SLanguage=en-us
The QVL; Qualified Venders List, shows all the tested memory for this board. Edge memory is not supported. This is why the Edge memory only runs by it's self. Once you add the corsair memory they clash because they are not compatible working together in this Asus board. Both sets of memory could work in another board. (Maybe)! What is also needed is if the corsair & edge DIMMs are SS = Single sided or DS = Double sided. How many chips on the corsair? How many chips on the Edge?
They must have the same total chips each each DIMM.
