Hmmm.....This tells me that your magneto has gone bad. take apart the outer plastic casing of the trimmer and follow the spark plug cap back to where it ends. (Not far away) This piece of plastic looking thing pressed up against the flywheel (A Round wheel with several fins sticking up on it) is called the magneto undo the screws that hold it in place and install the new magneto. Make sure before you undo these screws that know where the wires that are attatched go. They are for the kill-switch, (The switch that turns off the engine) and are either attached to the magneto with the screws that hold it in, or are attached to these tiny flat metal pins with and unknown name. Hope this solves your problem, and good luck!

My Husqvarna 323? weed-eater will not start. it has spark at the plug. compression is good. seems to be getting gas. I made sure we had fresh gas.??? it is only 2 years old.

The 323 was a good little engine, it did not suffer with any real problems, if it has a good spark and there is fuel to the plug it should fire, if not i would suggest that there is a mechanical problem, the flywheel has a moulded key, it may have sheared the key putting the timing out, if there is excessive piston wear this will also stop it firing up, there will also be a spark arrester in the muffler outlet, make sure this is not blocked.

Bought new e3 plugs for weedeaters and cant find gaps for them i have a Featherlite 20cc Fl20 and a Ryobi 31cc 700R

The gap for the Weed Eater 20cc engine can be set @ .025". The larger engine Ryobi 31cc/32cc class can be set @ .030" Either engine would operate within that .005" range and I know a 32cc Poulan calls for a .030" gap.

2009 31cc toro weed eater wont stay running. will fire and run at idle but wont stay running in 1,2,3 settings

get a can of starter fluid and a helper. Start the weed eater and then squirt enough starter fluid into the air intake to keep it running while you move it through the settings. This will rid your tool of the crud that is causing your problem. Joe

Very weak spark.....how do I check the points under the fly wheel.....How do I get the fly wheel off? I just picked any weed eater product cause there was no link for my weed eater ride on mower with a...

Unless your engine is more that 25 years old (not possible for an Enduro), there are no points. The ignition is solid state, which means that a weak spark will require a new ignition module. Not the end of the world - they're cheap and easy to find.

Change the plug first!

I have a snapper S31SST weed eater. It is 4-5

Remove spark plug and check for fire with a spark tester. (some inline models are also available and safer since the spark plug stays in place using those types)

If no spark:
Remove covers and unplug small kill-circuit wire(s) from ignition coil...Test for spark.
If you have spark the switch needs replacing.
If you have no spark the coil needs replacing.
Hope this helps.
