After every wash I clean the lint filter on my Bosch Nexxt Premium Dryer. Apparently, I must not have put the lint filter flush with the base and now the door is locked. Is there a way to reset?

the heating Elements do burn out. They can be replaced. Always clean out the lint filter. if lint filter has lint, the elements overheat causing early breakage
Ensure that the dryer's power supply cord is firmly plugged into an electrical outlet. 2
Inspect the structure's fuse box for a tripped fuse. Each fuse is assigned a single "On/Off" switch. If any fuse switch is in the "Off" position, flip that switch to the "On" position. If the problem persists, contact a professional electrician.
3
Press the "Start/Stop" button on the left side of the dryer's control panel. 4
Close the dryer door firmly so that the door clicks into place. The dryer will not operate if the door is not shut. Lint Filter 5
Clean the lint filter. Twist the program selector knob on the control panel to the "Off" position, then open the dryer door. Pull the lint filter out of the dryer. The lint filter is located at the front of the dryer's tumbler, and is inserted vertically into the dryer. Gently stroke your hand over the filter to clear the lint, then reinsert the filter and close the door. 6
Turn the dryer off and allow at least 30 minutes for the dryer to cool, as excessive heat can cause a drying program malfunction. 7
Increase the ventilation of the room the dryer is located in, such as by opening a door or window. Excessive heat will cause the dryer to automatically turn off until it cools as a safety measure. Increasing the ventilation will help keep the dryer cool. Clothing Not Fully Dry 8
Clean the moisture sensor. Open the dryer door to access the moisture sensor. The black-colored sensor consists of two bars, and is located at the front of the dryer's tumbler, to the left of the lint filter. The sensor should be cleaned with a clean cloth and white vinegar once per month. 9

Hi, This indicates the sensor near the lint filter gets too hot. This is usually caused by bad air flow.Try running the unit without the vent hose attached. If the problem goes away the problem is in the ducting. You may need to have it cleaned out. May be lint filter is clogged due to the use of dryer sheets or fabric softener. You can try to clean the filter with Windex. If neither one of this suggestions resolves the issue there may be a problem with the sensor, there may be heat escaping somewhere within the dryer. This is only resolved by technician. Good Luck and have a nice day. Rating the solution is highly appreciated.
This is a common complaint with this dryer. The probe generating this problem,is at fault. It likely has a film on it,from the dryer sheets.Remove the lint screen, and wipe down the probe that sticks into the air box.Should fix the problem,if not ,replace the probe.
My wife has a Bosch Premium dryer that had drying problems. The lint filter would get cleaned but the machine still did not operate correctly, as you explained above. Her machine was made in 2005 and the lint screen, the plastic slotted unit in front of the lint filter was the problem. It gets clogged up with hair/lint that never makes it to the filter. I tried a shop vac to vacuum it but the problem was still there. Get a pistol cleaning kit for a 22 cal gun. Pull the lint filter out & then take the pistol rod and insert it from the drum side into each slot and pull out the tons of lint. Pull the lint off the rod when done and take a flame to burn the rest off as the rod is a brass brush with small wires on it.
Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.
My Bosch Nexxt electric dryer had the same problem with the lint filter light blinking and the dryer not running. It turned out that the door switch was not engaging. The service technician informed me that there is a plastic tab (available only by opening the top access panel) that was not fully snapped in place. When he snapped the tab back in place and then secured it with a screw, the door switch fully engaged, the lint filter light went out, and the dryer ran perfectly! I hope that helps you!
