If your 2004 Impala has 16" wheels on it...these are a perfect fit for your Impala suspension, and tire clearance and performance...you can read the sidewall tire size on your car to confirm the 16" wheel size...the tire will read just like your replacement tire 225/65/16...many came with these...I will check factory specs if you will respond...Thanks.

only problem may be the lower corners of the bumper plastic may touch on hard turns . it can be trimmed easily

Well I would say yes if it is the new body style and 4x4.Even 2WD you may have to turn up the torsion bars then get the front end aligned.The rims don't matter how tall just wide.I have 2002 4x4 1500 with that size,but not sure what was stock on mine.I also installed the after market torsion keys that will allow for up to 33"tires.Well hope this helps and good luck.
