Have mpc l373n1 and it says iam connected to wireless network but cant get online please help

Do you own the wireless network? It is possible to connect to a wireless network without being online IF the wireless network is not connected to the internet. So first you must make sure that the wireless network you are connected to, is connected to the internet.

Hope this helped!

Unable to connect to the internet using a linksys wireless adapter. Connects to the router but can't find the internet.

Isolate the issue by directly connecting the PC to the router via ethernet cable (if possible).

If you were able to get online while hardwired connected to the router, then check the IP address of the wireless network connection, check the wireless security if the network key matches.

If you cannot get online while hardwired to the router, then directly connect the computer to the modem.

If you were able to get online while directly connected to the modem, then the problem is the internet settings on the router. Check the WAN configuration, such as DHCP or PPPoE.

If you cannot get online when directly connected to the modem, then you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider.

I can't get my linksys wusb54gsc to work with my motorola netopia 3347 modem It can't find network address

Are you sure that you are entering the correct network key ?
You said that this is a wireless modem.
If it is modem only then only 1 computer will be able to go online through the modem. If you have any other computer online already then second computer will not go online, because modem will allow only 1 IP address to go onlien.
I you want to go online on more than 1 computer at a time then you will need a router.

My laptop finds wireless router but will not connect to internet

Hi there. You may need to connect to the wireless network manually. What is the operating system running on your computer? If XP, you may follow these. (This is also applicable in other operating system, it may just vary a little) Right click the monitor icon showing on the system tray near the clock. Point the mouse in the icon and it will display the name if it is wireless network connection or network connection. Right click the icon and look for view available wireless network. If it is not showing, look for network connection. Right click and select "open network connection". Right click wireless network connection and select "view available wireless network" . Look for the wireless network you're trying to access or have connection.Highlight and click connect. If encrypted, you need to supply the pass key or security key twice and hit connect. It should allow you now to go online wirelessly. Please remember these, you should be able to go online wired. Make sure that there are other wireless computer connected to the wireless network you're connecting with and can go online wirelessly.

Hope this help :)

Hi jamesone..

This router will not support vista laptops..and the warranty period for this router is only a single year..better you can go for advanced g or gs routers .. model no's like..wrt54g or wrt54gs..with a warranty perion of 3 years..

HI baby..
this is for u..
It seems that you are not connected to the wireless connection ..i think the operating system in your laptop would be xp..to fix this problem
right click > wireless n/w connection > click view wirelss network connection > click change the order of the preffered network connections > select your wireless network name > from preffered wireless network and remove it..and then right click wireless network connection icon again and try connect to the network.. you will get connect.. and will get an ipaddress..
