My CanonPC940 won't grab paper and push it through to print-also makes a a loud "grinding" noise. How can I fix this?

Sounds like a tire may have slid off of a wheel. Yes they have wheels. Also paper soaks up water like a sponge always keep your paper in the wrapper it comes in and the top side of the paper is where the seam is. Make sure you put the paper in so that the top side is the side going through the machine. I do how ever believe you have a wheel or gear out of place.

PAPER FEED DOESNT WORK KONICA MINOLTA COLOR PRINTER

This happened to me one time after I pulled out a jammed paper the wrong way. I pulled it from the paper tray. Heard the sounds, it tried to grab the paper, but couldn't. It happened a long time ago, so I'm fuzzy on which part I tinkered with...but I recall that because I pulled the paper (backwards) from the tray, it flipped a lever/feeder/roller/thing and that 's why it wasn't grabbing the paper. If you look in the paper tray as the rollers go down to grab the paper, you'll see what's not working......sorry, lame solution.

Its saying the paper tray is empty even though there is paper

the problem is with the paper sesor in the paper tray. It must
be under the tray lift mechanism.
This is located in the right front part of the paper tray.
