When i am driving, the interior roof light on the left stays on. Is this suppose to stay on, when driving? Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006

No it's not.Either you have a door switch which is faulty or else there is a close connection on the wiring circuit,which means you need to check wiring connection.

Sounds like you lost your drive belt on the vehicle. Check to see if you still have a drive belt. Without a drive/serpentine belt you will get exactly what you have described. I'm just guessing but this is the first thing I would check. Hope it's something that simple for you and that you didn't get your engine too hot and I was able to help.

the backup light switch is defective, the switch is on the transmission replace it.

Check to see if the over head light has shorted to ground. EG: touching roof, from weight being put on the roof. EG: Cargo hauler.

Interior dome light stays on while driving


Your dome light switch in in front of the driver's seat where the headlights are. It is possible that switch is bad as it should be both a turn knob switch, and by pulling on it, it becomes a head light switch. You may have to replace it.
