Sounds like your sim is damaged or if you tried to unlock your phone to use on another network that can cause damage also. take phone to your carrier and have them give you another sim

My blackberry is saying sos when I put a sim card in it and dont know why

SOS means that the phone is only authorized for emergency type calls. Apparently the cellular carrier isn't accepting the SIM card you installed or it needs some sort of activation. Usually just swapping a SIM card from one phone to another is not enough to change phones within a carrier network. You usually have to contact the carrier as well and they do some magical mumbo-jumbo and then the new phone will operate.

My Mobile Network reads SOS

switch off your blackberry, remove the back cover and battery, and remove the sim card. Replace it after about one minute and it should not read SOS anymore.
If it still reads SOS, insert your sim card into another cellphone to see if it also reads SOS in a different phone. If it does, you need to call the company you bought the sim card from.
Eg; if it's an MTN sim card, call MTN; if it's Vodacom, call Vodacom etc.

I droped my bb an the battery came out an when i put it back in it says sos then it says gsm then sos again and the out coming an in coming arrows keep flashing help please :(

Most likely your GSM sim card is out of place. Take the back cover off, remove the battery and remove the sim card and then place it back in. Put the battery and cover back on and turn it on again.

mate this happened to me aswell. first type in *#06# and tell me what comes up. If you have all zeros as your IMEI number you will need to have the IMEI number reset to the original one. this can be done from a mobile phone ulocking shop.
