HP won't power up

If you are using win 10 force close it twice with the power button , turn it on as soon as it beeps use the power button to switch it off , do this two times , this should bring up the repair windows repair screen and give the option of removing the update .

1. pls find model no and check user manual to find the way to reset, some models can reset with needle to press hole near power button. some with + volume key and press power button and select reset.

Is the computer plugged in to a known good power source with a known good power cord? Also, make sure the power is fully seated on both ends. When you press the power button are you getting any indicator lights? The power button itself has an LED that will be either solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber, or off. Do you hear any beeps?

I have same problem with HP laptop, one of the things i did the first time was to take off the battery and press on/off button for twenty seconds, put the battery back and turn it on. That works for me and i hope to help you.

when the unit is on try to press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and then release if this will not work charge the unit for 3 to 4 hours using a wall adapter and if still not work try to check if there is a latest firmware update for the gps then download it.

Im not sure but there is normally a button somwhere on the laptop which acts a a reboot button. normally very small and have to press it using a pin etc. You could try that then turn it on but not sure if it will help?

check your keyboard connection (unplug and plug again). If not works try another of same type.

u have to wait till the screen will be black. I had the same problem with my sansa. it can lasts 1 or 2 days. after screen is black and then do following: 2. change lock switch to orange position 3.
