Question about Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+
I want to test Craftsman 1/2 HP Garage Door Opener Model 139.18453DM without proper installation (Without Hanging opener, just Tring test on Floor).
1. Installed Standard Control Console (Door control button)
2. Both sensor connected with unit and operational (Indicator lights glow steadilt)
Problem: When I press Standard Control Console (Door control button) then Craftsman 1/2 HP Garage Door Opener unit run about two seconds one directionand then two seconds the other direction. I've already tried limit adjustment settings (Timer & Force screws) from manual to fixed the problem but unable to resolve this issue.
Double check to make sure the sensors are wired correctly. The 2 solid white wires go to terminal 2 and the wires with black stripes go to terminal 3. If the wiring is correct then you possibly have a bad RPM sensor. The RPM sensor is a small circuit board just in front of the motor.

to see if the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the
motor unit. If so loosen the chain enough to remove the tension of
the trolley. Now run the motor until the door closes. While the door
is closed, locate the 'up limit' control on the side of the motor
unit. Turn this control 2 full turns in the opposite direction of the
arrow printed on the cover. Tighten the chain.
