SOURCE: Acer is going straight to a black screen after the acer logo in startup....it just shows a tiny blinking line. It goes no farther. I need help fast

Apparently your Acer cannot find the operating system. As soon as the Acer logo comes up, there should appear in one of the bottom corners "F" & a number should appear. Immediately start pressing that F number (top row of keyboard). This should take you to a boot screen. Scroll down to boot sequence. Hit enter. Make sure boot-up sequence is CD or floppy drive first, second should be HDD, then escape. Restart computer. Should then boot off CD drive. I am assuming you have an operating system (XP, windows, etc.). Let me know if this doesn't work.

During its warming up cycle, my Xerox Phaser 8560 stop before it can sent a text page and show ''printer error 09, 038, 46:1172'' on its display. Printer do not become operational at this...

Here's what the service manual has to say:

9,035.43 through 9,038 (8500/8550/8560 only): Ink count sensor flags are
stuck after melting 2.5 ink sticks. The following codes are recorded: 9,03x.41,
where x= 5 for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black.
Features on the bottom of genuine Xerox ink sticks actuate the Ink Out
Sensor located at the forward end of each ink channel of the Ink Loader. The
sensor indicates the passage of ink to provide a count of ink consumption.
Damaged or non-genuine ink sticks may not reliably actuate the sensors. This
can lead to false Ink Out messages as well as Ink Stick count faults. Using
8400 model ink in a 8500/8550/8560 models will also cause 9,03x.4x ink stick
count faults.

I had an unwanted wap message and I cant get rid of the wap logo from my screen can you help, also how can I stop these messages coming through. Ruth.

Hi, these messages can be a nightmare and without having the number to text them back and ask them to stop sending them all you can do is call your service provider and tell them the messages you want to stop, they then can stop them from being sent to your phone.

when you started getting these message they should have told you to stop getting these messages txt stop to this number but usually they leave it out so they can keep sending you these messages.

contact your service provider and they can stop them being sent to your phone.
its the only way you can get them to stop without having the number you need to send them the stop message so just give your service provider a call and they will then put a stop to them, they wont charge for doing this.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Hi,
This is an error in the ink loader.
It usually means the ink count sensors are stuck, after using 2 - 3 ink sticks. Your code shows that the yellow ink loader is stuck.
Features on the bottom of Xerox ink sticks actuate the ink loader sensor located at the end of each ink loader channel. The sensor detects the movement of the ink sticks to keep a record of ink usage.

Damaged, or Non-Genuine ink sticks may not actuate the sensors. Or using older Phaser 8400 model ink will also cause the 9,03x.4x errors.

  1. Check the ink sticks are genuine, and for the correct model.
  2. Manually verify that the ink stick is able to move in the ink loader chute. Check for broken or incorrect ink sticks.
There is a small chance that the ink count sensor is faulty, or the ink heater has blown.

This fault has to be cleared by running the Clear ISC Fault function, in the Service Diagnostics Menu.

Service Diagnostics > Function Menu > Clear ISC Fault

To enter the Service Diagnostics Menu, start with the power OFF.....

1. Turn the printer power On.
2. Wait for the Xerox logo to begin moving across the display.
3. Before the logo is centered on the display (stops moving), press and hold
the Back and Help buttons on the Control Panel.
4. Hold both buttons until the display reads Beginning Service Mode
Initialization. Release the buttons and the printer reboots into service
