In some models of LCD TVS; the backlight inverter and its T'Con board will be a part of the panel itself, and will be a built-in type inside the LCD panel. If so, they can't be replaced. In this case; a panel replacement is the only repair. For some other models, the backlight inverter section circuit will be a part of the main power supply regulator [SMPS]. To such sets, the power supply section circuit too should trouble shoot. Contact any service technician. The circuit will differ with models and versions.

If you have problem with video only then the back light inverter board of your tv is faulty. You didn't mentioned any thing else. Is there is sound or not. If sound is ok then the back light inverter is faulty. There is no repair possible with the back light inverter board. You have to replace the bosrd with a new one. As you didn't mentioned the model number of your tv, it is not possible to sent you any deatiles like where you will get the inverter board and its cost. Try to add full discription of the complaint and the model number of the TV.

Hi,
Question shows it is Vizio L32 lcd tv and symptom shows back light inverter board for defective for some reason and loud noise would be popping of any chip on inverter board.
Shopjimmy..com has replacement boards of that model on reasonable price and local tv repairman will replace defective board after checking/ testing the tv.

Unfortunately, that board is the inverter board. And for this model the inverter board is only supplied with the the PDP panel. The panel is quite expensive, here's a link if needed:
