Depends on what you mean by "warmed up". If you mean engine reaches normal working temprature and works normally then cuts out , but restarts wwithin 5 minutes and then carries on working normally until it cuts out again, and then restarts withing minutes...have the throttle position sensor checked. It may be that you have a warning code on the dash?
It might be the pedal position sensor alternatively.
If your engine works ok until fully warmed up this may be the problem.
If there are any symptoms before the cut out happens can you please add the details and repost thwe query

1993 Chevy C1500 4.3L V6 TBI starts but dies at idle after warming up.

Low pressure from fuel pump, when the pump is cold the pressure increases, as it warms up the pressure drops (this happens in a pump that is going out) the normal pressure should be at 40 with the key on and engine not running, when started the pressure should stay around 36, any less it won't idle and may run as long as you hold the pedal down. The injectors are opened electronicaly, so as long as there is fuel flow the engine gets fuel to run.So check the fuel pump, soundslike you need a new one

My car dies in the morning if I don't immediately

DEAR,

This is due to the cold engine start.

Please get the Glow plugs checked.
they are mounted on the cylinder head, if they are blown off then it will not make the engine warm at the first start.

thanx

I would start with cleaning the throttle bore and plate. Then clean the Idle Air Control valve, IAC, as this is the device that controls idle speed. Use a can of spray carb cleaner and an old toothbrush. Trouble with the IAC would make sense if you can keep the engine going by holding down the gas pedal a bit.
Use the carb cleaner to check for vacuum leaks at hose connections and elbows. run engine and spray short bursts at hoses and listen for idle speed changes.
And lastly if problem is still there check MAP sensor.

Engine dies when warm, tough warm start

If you follow the throttle linkage from around the intake you will see a little black box. Inside the box is a throttle adjustment. Ours actually slipped out of adjustment and there is where you can adjust it back...very simple to do..Give that a shot.
