Question about Frigidaire Dryers
I have a Frigidaire Dryer. The other day, I turned the start knob and it hummed like it was going to start but did not. The drum did not turn at all. I took the clothes out, opened the top of the dryer and tried to turn it on so I could see what was going on. The drum turned like 3X then stopped. There was a burning smell, then I heard a "pop''. Now, nothing happens when I turn the start knob. The dryer breaker was not blown when I checked it so I assume a fuse in the dryer blew? what should I do? Is this something I would be able to fix or is it something best left to a professional?
