SOURCE: caloric gas range problem

F0 - F1 - F7 Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

First you will need to check for proper voltage at the plug (behind the range) ensure you have 120/240 volt available.

F1 generally indicates a control board fault/failure. If you have attempted to reset the unit by unplugging it for about a min. or more and plugging it back in and the F1 error code returns, you will most likely need to replace the EOC (electronic oven control) board. Parts for your unit are available through Sears or other aftermarket parts suppliers.

SOURCE: My electric range is tripping the circuit breaker

unplug the unit and see if maybe you have a problem in the breaker/supply line from the house panel, otherwise does it work fine?,there also may be a bare or shorted wire in the unit itself

SOURCE: Kenmore oven control beeps and shows F1

According to Kenmore's list of error codes, F1 means EOC (Electronic Oven Control) failure, and the solution is to replace the EOC. You might look into that. The part itself costs around $80, as far as I can see.

I have a Kenmore Ceran electric slide in range, model # 629.46799895 ...it was on, started beeping, and showing fault code F1 on the screen

Sorry to read about your problem.

Try this to determine which part is needed.

This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

I tried to help you. Please help ma and rate/vote this responce. Thanks and good luck

Error message on Kenmore oven

F-1 is not good. It basically means the EOC (electronic oven control is bad). There is a little test here for a little info:

It sounds like your little Computer has lost its settings, and needs to be reprogrammed, you need your manual which came with this Range to do it yourself, or you need to call in a service technician.
It wont be too expensive, because it can be re sett pretty fast.

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

Kenmore electric built-in oven control panel beeping

We had the same problem. F7 error code and beeping. We turned off at the breaker- left it off for hours turned it back on and still f7 and beeping. We call repairman to come out and he removed the cover on control panel (3 screws on bottom of controll panel and it pops off). He unplugged the ribbon keypad connection - Cleaned the ends with a pencil eraser and said it is fixed and we would not have a problem.

Well, that was a fast way to spend 60 bucks but it has been a week and the oven has been great. No more beeps or error codes. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO IT YOURSELF!
