Get a small bottle of mix oil that is metered for one gallon of fuel. Mix the oil with a FRESH gallon of premium fuel in a gas can. Shake. Fill tank of machine. Start and run machine. All done.

SOURCE: chainsaw gas mixture ratio

An XL from that time frame recommends 32:1 here:
http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/d4b1071a456ca76c88256cd6001cc24c?OpenDocument
If my saw it would be adjusted for and operate on 50:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.

What gas does a Homelite 16 " Ranger chain saw use

The recommended fuel mixture is a 50-to-1 ratio of unleaded gasoline and two-cycle engine oil, and the manufacturer recommends the use of a two-cycle oil that contains fuel stabilizer to keep the mixture fresh if you are not using it immediately.

What is gas oil mixture for a Homelite 33 cc Ranger?

50:1--( 50 parts fuel to 1 part oil)
Now you can buy a special oil from Stihl service agents that has a 50:1 formulation that will cover all mix ratios regardless of the engine make or ratio requirement
saves having different tins for different ratios for different engines

What is the oil/gas ratio for this model chainsaw? I left my manual at our previous address. Thanks

Fuel/Oil Mixture
  1. Use a quality 2 cycle oil and mix it to the OIL supplier's recommended ratio. Today I use Stihl 2 cycle oil mixed @ 50:1 in a Pioneer that I purchased new in 1980. There are no gouges or scratches on the piston or cylinder and I have no carbon build up on the piston top. The manual (on stone tablets) recommends 24:1. Over the years the mixture has leaned from 24:1 (Saw Recommendation) to 28:1 (Lawn boy mower recommendation) to 32:1 (Oil provider 2gal premium/8oz chainsaw 2-cycle engine oil - used for many years) and finally the last 5 (±) years 50:1 (1gal premium/2.6oz Stihl 2-cycle engine oil)
  2. Any fuel containing ethanol is not good with chainsaws. Mix what you expect to use within a few weeks. Anything over 1.5 months old use up in a 4 cycle engine. HTH

Need a Manual for HomeLite Leaf Blower Vacuum Model Ut08934B, specifically for fuel mixture ratio.

Most 2 stroke engines.......99% now use 50 to 1 mix in the fuel.
Others are close to this ratio.

Older....over 20 to 30 years old ........that may have had 20 to 1 ....or other ratios run happily on a 50 to 1 ratio using the newer 2 stroke oils.
And......BONUS.......they have increased engine life because of reduced semi burnt oil build up caused by "too much oil".......particularly around the rings on the piston(s) etc.
