Why does it fire two nails constantly?

what do you mean fires two at one time or two like bam bam.? different things all together. two at one time is the nose piece and normally occurs on coil nailers when they wear out. If its bam bam then, yout trigger is black and its called a contact tip trigger, meaning as long as the safety is pressed down and the trigger is held it will fire. But common problem is when people use a gun and put it on the board and pull the trigger. Like any gun there is a " kick" the kick is the operation of air going through the gun hitting the piston which is attached to the driver, pushing the nail into the board, ( a lot of energy directed straight down) pushing the gun up. and the trigger while released actually is making you pull it twice. So, as a tech I teach new people that there is a sequential trigger that does not do that or if your good with your aim try holding the trigger and tapping the board a single time.
but long and short of it, nose worn ( pricey) or trigger

Hi i have a problem with my stanly bostitch nail gun .i was using it ok for a little while then the nail stop coming out ,now all i hear is a putting sound only ,sounds like no air ,but my compressor and...

Your nailer model number is N75C-1 shares design features with many other bostitch coil nail guns. Usually, when you only hear a puff of air coming from the trigger area or within gun, the driver or headvalve is stuck. Usually easy to fix. First check the driver by removing air supply and inserting metal rod into nose of gun pushing the driver all the way up to top of cylinder (open latch and note position of driver, should not be visible). If driver is stuck due to debris, clear and retest gun. If driver is all the way up then remove head and see if the driver moves down (should move with light pressure). Headvalve should move inward with strong thumb pressure and move back out. Repair as needed and lube with silicone paste lube (sold at Lowes in plumbing department and swimming pool supplies). If both driver and headvalve look ok, then suspect trigger valve under the trigger. Good luck

I have an fc350a nail gun. After firing one time, the piston will not retract until the air hose is removed from the gun.

May need a new firing valve or safety foot is sticking. Easy to check, Remove air supply, nails and remove the trigger to expose the firing pin. Connect air and place the nose of the gun against thick rubber or coiled air hose. Depress trigger and let go. Gun should fire and trigger pin will return to original position. If piston still does not retract then problem is with trigger valve and most likely the rest of the orings within the gun will need replacing. Not expensive. Remove the air supply and look closely at the firing pin, if it moves quite a bit from side to side and looks worn time to replace. If it look to be in good condition, then orings within trigger valve may be swollen and will not allow the trigger to function. You can remove the valve by removing the 3mm roll pins above the valve and applying air pressure to pop out the valve. Use heavy glove to catch the valve because it could come out with force (reduce air pressure to gun if possible). If gun works ok examine safety foot mech for problem. Use silicone paste lube on orings. good luck

I installed a new grease cartridge in my grease gun and grease does not come out when triggered.

If the gun was working properly before you changed the cartridge, The gun is air-locked
Two things: 1. Make sure the bottom rod is pushed in. 2. Holding the gun by the handle on the top left of the gun, below the hose there is a little metal valve. Push that vent valve down and pull the trigger repeatedly until grease starts to come out.
If that doesn't work. Remove the grease hose, hold the vent valve down, pull the trigger a few times. Then release the valve and pull the trigger until grease comes out. Replace the hose.
And if that doesn't work. Sometimes when you put in a new cartridge the metal "washer" that actually pushes the grease up the cylinder will get caught at the bottom of the new cartridge. Make sure the washer will move freely into the cartridge.
That should do it!

On the trigger of my Bostich Spiral load nail gun AND my Bostick trim nail gun air is leaking profusely from the trigger. Nail guns were not in use for about a year. When I first used them this weekend,...

A nail gun works on compressed air.
When you hook the air hose to the gun it fills a cylinder with air pressure.
When you pull the trigger. the cylinder pressure is released onto a firing pin that shoots the nail.
The air pressure line is also connected to the trigger and therefore the trigger has to be sealed.

When ever using a nail gun, you add a bit of gun oil in the back of the gun (not 3-in-1motor oil, it has to be non-detergent gun oil)

If you haven't used the gun in a while, it is best to oil up the gun and let the oil run down into the gun.
If you use anything but gun oil, the seals will give out.

Your trigger seal has given out. It is probably an 'O' ring. You can access it by taking it apart. Look for the O ring.
Bostich makes re-build kits for the different guns that you can buy on-line.
Back when I was in construction, there were several nail gun shops that sold and serviced nail guns, and sold nails to the contractors. I don't know if that business model is still active or if you have to send the guns to Bostich service center.

Air leaking aroung the trigger assembly from my Hitachi NR83A

if you took the trigger apart the part that you unscrew has a nylon ball and a black rubber ring you should check them and make sure that you didn't loose them when you took it apart,if they are there, then you need to service the gun, and after you clean all the moving part and you put it back together, it may still leak from the top,Take a rubber hammer and give it a good hit,now not to hard, and it should seal

GX 08 spray gun problem

drain your system of pressure. remove your air cap and nozzle from the gun. slowly increase fluid pressure till it comes out of gun. this will clean out debri from gun. reduce pressure so you don't wast anymore fluid.
clean nozzle properly / completely
clean aircap. properly / completely
inspect needle tip for abnormal wear.
if cleaned properly you will find your gun works much better.

Framing gun not firing leaking air aroung trigger

You have a crumbled trigger seal. You can order a new trigger valve through bostitch. It usually takes a couple of weeks though.. Every time I order one it is on backorder. You will need to order trigger valve kit part number TVA11 $21.40. Go to the Bostitch website click on Schematics and Parts to the left then find your model nailer in the search field and select item 53 when the parts list comes up. Click add to cart to order. Another screen will pop up and ask you if you want to checkout. Any questions please post back.
