Question about Kitchen Ranges
I have a Whirlpool flat top stove, model #RF3663XDN0. When I set my oven temp the inside temp is approx 25 degrees lower than posted. I tried putting a manual thermometer inside and adjusting it higher to make up the difference but anything I bake now does not come out right
This unit has a calibration function which can compensate for temperature errors of +/-30 deg F. Hold the BAKE button for 4 seconds to enter this mode. Use the Temp UP/DN buttons to adjust the temperature offset. Push START to enter the new offset.
Also, the typical manual oven thermometers are notoriously inaccurate.
If this doesn't solve your problem, next items may be the temperature sensor or control board. If it is the control board we may be able to repair it for you at www.fixyourboard.com.
