Question about LG Xenon GR500 Cell Phone
I just got my phone today and had the same problem. I figured that on the way over, something magnetic messed up the polarity of the magnet that snaps the slider back into place. It's used to sense the orientation of the phone so that it can rotate the screen.
All I did was take a regular magnet, slide out the slider and run/rub the magnet over the back of the slider...watch the screen; it'll magically rotate and right itself. Very cool. Physics once again saves the day:D

Physics saves the day! Jen Wen is correct, the best solution is to use a regular kitchen magnet on the bottom of your phone; it sets the polarity of the phone in alignment again.
Thanks Jen Wen, I was slightly nervous but it worked beautifully!

i had the same problem...this is what you do. u check to see if you have a magnetic phone case or if ur phone has been exposed to any magnets. idk why but magnets mess up the screen rotation. all u have to do is take a magnet and pass over the phone once and it should go back to normal. but dont ever expose the phone to any magnets.
hope this helps

you may need to replace the flex cable you can purchase them on ebay, because soon it will make your screen completely blackout
